Charlevoix South Pier Light

The automated light of the Charlevoix South Pier light is powered by a solar panel on the front of the tower. The current steel structure, first lit in 1948, replaced the original wooden light. It is located on the south pier at the end of the Pine River, marking the entrance to Round Lake and Lake Charlevoix from Lake Michigan.
