Bailey's Harbor Range Lights - Door County

Built in 1869, the Bailey's Harbor Upper Range Light housed the light keeper and stands fifteen feet taller than the lower tower. It is separated by 950 feet from the lower range light. These lights were built to repalce the nearby 1852 'birdcage" style beacon. Green Bay mariners knew where to enter the harbor by aligning the two lights.
