Sherwood Point Lighthouse - Door County
SKU: 5278
1883 Sherwood Point Lighthouse was the last manned lighthouse on the Great Lakes. It is the only Door County lighthouse built of red brick rather than limestone or cream city brick. The attached light tower is 35' tall and the tower's Fourth Order Fresnel lens is 61' above lake level. It's beacon can be seen 18 miles out into Green Bay. The lighthouse was automated in 1983. It is open to the public only one weekend during the year and now serves as a USCG residence.
