Wind Point Lighthouse

Wind Point Lighthouse was designed by Orlando Poe and completed in 1880. The 180 foot tower has 144 cast iron steps spiraling up to the lantern room. The village of Wind Point began leasing the buildings and grounds from the Coast Guard in 1964. It was recognized as a National Historical Site in 1984.
